Girls and Boys XC Rankings (11/6/11)

The last city-wide rankings for both the xc program is now posted. These listings represent the possible finishes for the varsity and jv races. The actual results for the borough championships as well as the frosh/soph championships are also available to view. Please note that the Brooklyn Boys and Brookyn Girls JV results are not available. Unfortunately, we are missing over 400 performances for various jv races. If any coach wishes to submit the times of their athletes in the Brooklyn JV races and the Queens Girls JV race, they are welcome to send them in and they will be included in this year’s database. Congratulations to all the borough winners and the Frosh/Soph city champions for their great performances. Good luck to all of our athletes and their coaches at the City Champs.

Boys Cross Country Rankings (10/23/11)

The Boys latest Cross Country Rankings are now posted. Not much has changed, but the competitions at each borough site and at the City Champs should be very competitive. Good luck to all our athletes at the Boro Champs and the Frosh/Soph City Champs.

Girls Cross Country Rankings (10/23/11)

The latest Girls rankings are now posted, and there are some changes as we get closer to the major championship events. The Borough Champs will provide some fireworks, especially in Staten Island and Queens, as each varsity championship promises to be extremely close. As always, the Frosh/Soph Champs are hard to call because of the uncertainty of rookie runners, but the rankings appear to indicate some exciting competition at both championships. Good luck to all of the athletes and coaches at the upcoming Boros and Frosh/Soph Cities. The Boys rankings will be posted soon.

The latest boys cross country rankings are now ready to view. Included is the first frosh/soph rankings. The results from Ridgewood will be included in next weeks rankings and a number of errors will be corrected before the next rankings are published. The latest rankings for the Girls XC program has now been posted. There still many questions at both the Boro and City-wide level, but these will sort themselves out over the next few weeks. The first frosh/soph rankings have also been posted and these rankings will become clearer after the boro frosh/soph champs. As always, please send in any corrections that you have. There have been a number of reporting errors at the grand prix events as well as the weekend meets, and unfortunately, many performances are not included in the database. The Boys rankings will be posted later today. Good luck to all our athletes in the upcoming Frosh/Soph champs at the various Boro sites.

The latest Girls Cross Country Rankings are now posted. There are a few surprises and some small changes in both the Borough and City-Wide Rankings for the Girl’s program. A question for those of you who attended the Girls Grand Pix #3 last week at Prospect Park. Who were the first few girls in the 5000m? The posted results seem to have some errors. Good luck to all runners with the upcoming Grand Prix races and with the busy weekend events. This weeks rankings will include predictions for the Girls and Boys Frosh/Soph program.

The latest Boys Cross Country rankings are now available to view. There were some major changes to the City-Wide rankings and some minor ones at the Borough level. It looks like the championship season will be extremely competitive at both levels. The results from the Manhattan Invitational were included in the rankings. If any performance was not published on the internet, or if there was some “glaring” error with the results, send in your corrections. The Girls Rankings will be published later today.

The latest Girls Rankings are now available to view. There are some significant changes to both the borough and city-wide rankings, but remember, it is still early in the season, and anything can happen. If you have any additions, subtractions, corrections, advise, input, etc., please send in your changes. Does anyone have any information as to the distance run at the first grand prix meet in Staten Island? It looks like in the influx of some great new runners may have some influence on the outcome of both the girls borough and city champs.
